This website is operated by Gentlemen Suits. By visiting the website and/or purchasing from us, you agree to these terms and to the policies referred to in them. These terms apply to all users of the site, including visitors, customers and contributors of content. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. Please check this page regularly: continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated terms.

1. Online store terms

1.1 Minimum age. You must be of legal age in your country of residence, or have the consent of a legal guardian, to use this website.

1.2 Prohibited use. You may not use our products or website for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, or transmit viruses or any code of a destructive nature. A breach of these terms may result in immediate termination of your access.

2. General conditions

2.1 Access. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and to change our services at any time without notice.

2.2 Data transmission. Content other than payment data may be transferred unencrypted. Payment data is always transferred over encrypted connections.

2.3 Reproduction. You may not copy, sell or otherwise exploit any part of the service without our written permission. Headings are for convenience only.

3. Accuracy of information

We do our best to keep the information on this website accurate, but we cannot guarantee that it is always complete or up to date. Any reliance on the information is at your own risk. We may change content at any time without obligation to update it.

4. Changes to service and prices

4.1 Prices. Prices and taxes may change without notice. The price shown at checkout applies to your order.

4.2 Changes and interruptions. We may modify, suspend or discontinue (parts of) the service at any time, without liability for resulting damage.

5. Custom orders, adjustments and returns

5.1 Custom products. We specialise in made-to-measure clothing: suits, shirts, jackets, trousers, overcoats and ready-styled suits. Customers can design their own garments on this website. You are responsible for entering correct measurements; please follow our measuring videos carefully.

5.2 Returns. Because every garment is made to order for you, returns are not accepted. For minor adjustments we work with partner tailors worldwide who can alter the garment.

6. Prices and payment

6.1 Payment methods. iDEAL, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

6.2 Processing. Payments are processed over encrypted connections. If a payment fails, the order may be cancelled.

7. Delivery

Shipping is free to every country in the world. Every garment is made to your measurements: our tailors need about 5 days to make it, and shipping takes about 10 days. Please allow around 20 days from your order to delivery – it often arrives sooner.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website (texts, images, logos, graphics and software) belongs to Gentlemen Suits or its licensors. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted provided copyright notices remain intact. Commercial use requires our written permission.

9. Amendments

We may amend these terms at any time. Changes are published on this page and, where applicable, emailed to existing customers.

10. Applicable law and disputes

Dutch law applies to all agreements. Disputes are submitted exclusively to the competent court in the Netherlands. If both parties agree, an alternative method such as mediation may be used.

11. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, strikes, fire, flooding or power and telecom outages. Obligations affected are suspended and both parties will seek a fair solution in good faith.
